 EPA's 2011 Gulf Guardian Award

•  Mobile City Council Recognizes 1st Project Phase Results

MISSION STATEMENT

Under the leadership of Partners for Environmental Progress (PEP), By-Product Synergy Central Gulf Coast benefits area business by employing a multi-industry collaborative approach to identifying and realizing opportunities for cost savings and innovations.

At its core, By-Product Synergy Central Gulf Coast facilitates the transformation of one company’s waste, or by-product, into an industrial input for another company. Synergies formed between participants turn costly waste streams into productive revenue streams while reducing the environmental impact of product.

BPS had a very successful first project phase from May 2009 through late 2010. We are currently recruiting an additional 20 companies to join BPS in order to lauch the second project phase in December 2011.
